I think it has a lot to do with it’s lewd concept but overall cute and surprisingly “wholesome” attitude. I like appreciate the game’s good nature and humor, while making sure it was short enough that it didn’t get too frustrating. Even though the final puzzles and the end sequence are incredibly difficult! If you’re interested in a game about finding and befriending a whole bunch of demon girls, check it out. Helltaker is a free game!
On a different note, I should mention that I feel really good about the lineart on these drawings. I think I owe that to a new screen protector I put on the iPad. Now my ipad screen actually ”feels” like paper. That might be weird to imagine but now, instead of glass the digital screen has the grain of a rough sketch book. This is actually something incredibly pleasing to an artist who misses the feel of graphite pencils.
But more than just the feel of graphite, the texture of the screen requires more force to draw on. That means the actual strokes you make have to be much more deliberate. This might actually wear on my electronic pen a lot, so much that I’ll have to replace it sometime in the future. It might also tire my wrist out. However, as a work expense, this feels like a good investment for improving the drawing experience for me.
