A pile of sketches! (some pinups in there...)

I haven't just dumped a big pile of anatomy sketches in a while. So here's some of the examples of studying I'd been doing this past month.

I wouldn't bank on those bones being completely accurate. What I'm finding helpful is trying to remember general shapes and placement with each one. Sometimes writing them down and then joking about em, can give you a really helpful shorthand in your mind, that you can use later when making stuff up.

I will say, this past year, while I haven't made a really concentrated effort to master anatomy, I have improved a good deal while still maintaining the exaggerations and cartoonish elements that I really like.

Anyway, I think it'll be Saturday again by the time you see this. I'm feeling tired again, but maybe a little more hopeful at times. There are some stressful things going on. But at least I'm on a new healthy fitness regimen that I'm enjoying. Take care everyone, see you Monday.
