It's my friend Aidenke's character, Amy again. I've drawn her a few times now. Hopefully I've tagged those posts.
This was a drawing from a couple weeks back I think. There are a couple interesting things about it, despite being a fairly simple pose and composition. It was one of the few times I've ever tried using the 3D model tools in Clip Studio Paint with both a character and background. It took a little bit to get used to the tools but once I understood what was going on, it only took a few minutes to get a composition I was ready to work with.
The 3D model isn't a very accurate representation of anatomy. For one thing, it doesn't show how muscles move. It's just a useful mannequin that helps you figure out what you want to draw. It won't tell you things about weight or how natural the pose is.
Using the model as a guide, I was able to produce this pic in about one to two hours from start to finish. It was a pretty reasonable amount of time, with some of that dedicated to learning the 3d tools. If I can produce backgrounds with a program like Blender and then import them into Clip Studio, I can see this becoming a regular part of my process on more complicated projects.
