I kinda feel like I could go sexier and more Badass with this. Witchblade is just one of those 1990's comic properties that is totally a product of it's time. Yet it has some staying power, thanks to just... being a fun and sexy concept. I definitely like the Anime story the most, but Sarah Pezzini pinups are always gonna be fun to look at. She's appeared in a lot of stories since the 90s and I'm sure I'd like to read a lot of them.
I did the first sketch and it ended up with a Battle Angel sort of vibe. I liked the second one more, cause it sorta has a character to it. I like the thought of super powerful battle armor, or cybernetics, unnatural stuff being put into regular clothes. It's often such a fun image that I honestly should do it more often. I do it a little in Cassiopeia Quinn, with Motor Minx sometimes putting on casual clothes.
Sarah Pezzini's a cop! She might have some issues with going around naked but for a super weapon bikini! Wardrobe Malfunctions are a pretty interesting trope out of comics, ya know. "Charming embarrassment." We'd hate for it to happen in real life. It's a lot more relate-able than being a superhero generally is. It's something that say... Adam Warren's Empowered really gets very well.
