Ready to Go (weird? kinky? claustrophobia warning?)

But the more I put my mind to it, the more I realized this is something I wouldn't mind as a real world option. Maybe that's a sign of our modern dystopian living, but I would much rather just sit in my own tiny climate controlled private box than fly with hundreds of passengers for hours.
Personally, I wanna say I like travel. I even like airports weirdly enough. I find places of mass transit to be inherently interesting places to be. It's interesting to be caught up in a place that's about getting to another place entirely. But I don't like actually flying. I dislike the lack of privacy. I dislike being next to strangers for that long. And that's before I have to deal with turbulence.
I think, when I see these tiny little compartments they're usually in science fiction movies and talking about the dehumanization of people. But I think having your own private place is much more comforting, if given comfortable oxygen, your own light, and wi-fi. This obviously isn't an option for everyone. I happen to like tiny spaces myself as long as I'm not bumping into anyone. And if I can tint the windows for privacy, then absolutely this seems like the option for me.
Just make sure the box is easy to open from the inside!

I was thinking, maybe a Capsule Cell style design would be more comfortable. I'd be curious about how you manage safety like that but ultimately it's privacy that's the big missing thing in a plane ride.
