Hope you guys don't mind me adding some old art into this post. It was just honestly easier for me to add the old pictures than it is to go into the patreon archives and link you each post. (it might be nice if Patreon adds a gallery but the best I can do is keep the High Res link up to date) I wanted to add them for context cause this might be a tricky idea to explain without em.

I don't think either of us originally intended the characters to interact when we drew them, but we did just happen to be drawing new super hero girls at around the same time. So I think we floated the idea that their power sets could be complimentary.

Patrons of mine might remember "Goldie" who had the power to change into metal. I started thinking, what if she had the power to change into objects and weapons. Then the two could be a pretty rad superhero pair. It's not a totally original power. You can find it as the basis for the anime "Soul Eater." I'm not super fond of that anime but the power idea is nice.

So anyway, a super strong superhero teams up with someone who can transform into useful tools or weapons or armor, it could be pretty spiffy. It might be a fun adventure story to tell someday.
