Tech Genius at Work
Added 2019-05-24 10:00:02 +0000 UTCI just noticed I never posted these doodles to the general blog. These are probably some of my favorite expressions I've drawn. Julie's always a fun character to draw, and I think part of it is just how she doesn't know how to hide her feelings about things. So her face is supposed to be very easy to read and gets exaggerated in fun ways.
This page also has some unusually confident lines. The top right drawing, with her attacking the clamshell packaging, her shoulder is pretty much just two uninterrupted lines. And it looks great. Some other lines are messier, notably her fingers. But I can feel myself starting to get better at that.

2019-05-30 16:44:16 +0000 UTCI feel like her bottom expression of complete anguish is deliberately placed below her frustrated attempts to bite her new mouse to freedom. Very clearly impatience causes one to forget about scissors.
