The Batgirl design here is based on Art Baltazaar's version of Cassandra Cain in Tiny Titans, who is pretty adorable. You can find a couple sketches I did here. And over here is a drawing I got from Art Baltazaar himself!
I don't use this sort of static paneling in my comics a lot. You find it gets used for a lot of text and long conversations in the Heroes in Crisis book. What I think a static panel like this is good for is showing ACTING! And no one has better comedic acting than Tiny Titans Cassandra.
