An Orphan (early draft)

This is an early draft of a finished piece which you can find here on my deviantArt.
I had this idea in my head for a while, and I suppose it might be an opportunity to talk about my own issues with mental health and what not. All the same, I guess I should keep that private. This page only really makes sense to anyone who's following DC comics in any way, and has been written with that in mind. It takes places in Sanctuary, a recent invention of DC comics wherein superheroes seek to talk about their mental health and well being. And I thought, wow. That's a really potent concept in this day and age. And well, I figured of all the DC heroes that could use a visit, Cassandra is over due for one.
In a departure from my usual methods, I wrote this page before I sketched it. I wanted to stretch my legs a little, and see about building my abilities with prose. I'll attach that in the attachments as a docx file. It's a bit risky, my script was written primarily for myself and as such doesn't bother describing things that I feel like I should know. But it might be nice for you guys to see, exactly what I was thinking when putting this together.

This version definitely hit very close to home for me but it's also worth reminding myself/yourself that you are not just your largest skill set, for as much as that colors your perspective of the world. "if all you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail"
