This is actually a slight alternate pic of the version I posted on deviantArt! Both versions have a high res on dropbox.

The alternate thing here is that she somehow lost her underwear under that dress. I thought about uploading a version without the Revenant effect on her face but the artwork on her face isn't finished underneath it so that would take some effort.

I figure I could talk about two things with this pic. One, I actually really like the designs of the women in the new Mortal Kombat game. But I was ALSO a fan of the ninja bikini babes. I'm okay with them moving away from the ninja bikini babe look, I think other games will be able to do that if they wanted to. I don't think it's somehow, making Mortal Kombat a less "manly" game. However, I do think Jade's costume could have done with slightly more revealing underpants. (Even if for this drawing I do actually prefer her look with the underpants on!)

Two, I should talk about the production of this pic. I've been getting into this process that is both very satisfying AND very fast to finish. I'm also notably, not cleaning up my lines as perfectly as I could be. It's really clear in the high res art where I'm just not cleaning up certain edges. It might be a little distracting, though I kinda like them there. They just don't have a certain "intentional" look to them yet. I'm just not cleaning them up, which can look a little unprofessional.

Cleaning up the art is a pretty time consuming process. But it might be what I need to do if these were meant to be professional portfolio pieces, or pieces I planned on giving to a commissioner.
