I'm constantly jealous of Liefeldian's expertise with anatomy. It continues to be one of my weaknesses, and they just have so much more confidence and have only been getting better. Anyway, I guess that's enough gushing.
The colors here came out alright. There isn't too much to add about the production but there is one neat thing to point out. In the background here, you can see how I tried to build the lights with multiple colors. I wanted to make the penumbra (is that the right word in this situation) a color reminiscent of how eyes see a little purple around the edges of bright light. It's very specific...
Basically what I'm getting at is that it's nice to build light out of multiple colors. And to push that further to create the feel of strong bright light. Even though objectively, the light in the background is of a lower brightness than the characters in the front.
Oh hey, it's Saturday again... It's been a really long 4am on a Sunday here... Well. I'll be sure to setup more posts again for next week. Hope you guys enjoyed some of these.

2019-04-15 03:49:04 +0000 UTCPenumbra is the light off an occluded source, so perhaps in the sense that the purple hair is blocking the light. Perhaps more accurate would be Heiligenschein which is the light scatter from a obverse source due to water or ice crystals in the air. Yes I am that much of a weather nerd. Keep up the awesome work!
