I'm watching Steven Universe VERY slowly and I'm enjoying it a lot! I think I'm somewhere in season 2, so please don't tell me any spoilers. I've somehow managed to avoid most spoilers except some things like... "Space Dorito is Best Gem." I didn't have much context for that before but now I totally appreciate it.
It was fun trying to translate the cartoon designs into my style of sketching. I feel Pearl and Peridot here are really successful. Garnet however, I think I'd need to do some more tests to figure out hair I'm happy with. Keeping her silhouette without it looking like a trimmed garden hedge is a challenge.
