It's actually that Gunmetal Colette, but we've replaced the cyborg parts with animal inspired machines. It's... probably not going to work too well. Hopefully there are a number of safety measures in place.
I'm sorry that this is going to be a short message, because I think I have a lot of thoughts on this subject. I for one, think cybernetics are cool and if given the choice I'd take on Ghost in the Shell style prosthetics any day. However, amputation and prosthetics are also a challenge that real people have to deal with. There's a danger of fetishizing an aspect of real people that carries a specific weight in people's lives.
I'm seeing more and more people drawing pinups with cyborg parts or amputations and ya know, it's pretty cool. At least I'm cool with it. At the same time I'm trying to maintain a level of awareness about it. The cyborg parts are an awesome fantasy, but sometimes the fantasy also includes more awkward things to discuss like amputation or even body horror. Cyberpunk stuff has always welcomed that, and matched it like for like with sexuality and a coolness factor. But again, it's something worth being cognizant about.
As much as the "Gunmetal Colette" design is really cool and fun to draw and sexy, it's worth noting that she's different from the other Colettes in that she's specifically a human with some replacement limbs in a story with combat mecha. Means arms are gonna fall off ya know.
I'm just rambling at this point. Worth thinking about. I'll warn ya'll ahead of time if I think a thing I post is gonna be squicky.
