I declare that Whale Sharky and Off-brand Totoro are best friends. Off-brand Totoro smiles to hide his pain at the fact that his parents made "Off-brand Totoro" his legal name on his birth certificate. Whale Sharky tries too hard to be the center of attention because he's afraid of being alone as he gets older.
