Bun Bun the Blade
Added 2017-09-09 23:45:55 +0000 UTCHigh res in the dropbox. This is more of an extreme type of "sculpting" to paint than what I've been playing with for the fast few weeks. It's very familiar to concept artists and the like. You create a silhouette in black and start carving and molding the drawing ontop of the rough layout. That's the general theory, but the one key thing about this method is that: At every stage of the drawing, it should look interesting. And every stage you add, it should look more interesting. It's like seeing a good photo but everything gets more and more in focus as you get closer to where you want to be.
