Destiny 2 is still out

My ten cent review is that it's refined Destiny gunplay, powers that allow you to be active and generally empower you for longer and stronger. Enemies are more varied and act with exaggerated differences. And they significantly (hugely significantly) cut down the grind by dropping most XP and currency gathering. Just play and get cool stuff.
But one of the nicest changes of pace is the improvements to story telling and patrol activities. The new patrol mode is active, something is always happening and with the faster loading everything is easy to get to. And missions existing in the real world space give everything a better sense of cohesion. And even though it's sometimes an open world, the game learned how to let you appreciate the rare but impactful quiet moments. The art design is fantastic and there have been already a few locations that are really awe inspiring with their visual creativity.
Anyway, I'm in the middle of a mission where I got to rescue a cyborg from something he didn't have time to explain. It's great.
