Sketchie Book 5 in Progress (nsfw)
Added 2017-06-27 00:00:00 +0000 UTCJust a short snapshot of some of the page compositions in the new Sketchie book. It's going to be using old art that never appeared in a sketchie book before. A lot of it are older pinups, sketches, patreon posts that I never found time to put into a collection before.
Unfortunately some of the files are so old (and on a drive that appears to have deteriorated) that some older drawings aren't open-able anymore. So it's better to do this now than never.
Ideally I'd like to catch up with the old sketches and collecting them so I can have nice archives of all my internet artwork for sale! But doing it that way it'll take a long time before I get to the relatively new content from this year.
That said, I wouldn't rule out doing a special character based sketchiebook from time to time.

In my haste to post, or even just remember exactly what happened with the files, I started to recall what happened exactly. A lot of these files were stored on an older drive. That drive began to fail with a combination of issues, related to memory problems, blue screens, probably a virus or two... It started as an old install of Windows 7 that had been ghosted onto a different drive and then forced to update to 10 and stuff. There were times when the computer would crash while manga studio story files were open which in turn damaged some of the files. This was before I used dropbox backups for recent files so these older pages just got slightly corrupted. Doesn't matter what drive I put them on anymore.

2017-06-27 08:28:37 +0000 UTCThe art isn't readable? I'm assuming it's isolated to one drive, right? Suggestion: Don't trust that drive, and maybe run Seatools on it. (The Seagate HDD diagnostic - meant for their drives but last I used it a few years ago it ran on anything.) If that reports unrecoverable errors the drive is kaput.
