Different Pencils, Different Styles
Added 2016-09-02 09:38:12 +0000 UTCOne thing that makes itself apparent from working with different tools, is that they can greatly affect how you draw. I like to come up with custom brushes that feel right to me, but I also like to let them tell me what they're good at. When I find something that works and fits my current mood, it's a real treat.
I have a pretty okay grasp of a bunch of art fundamentals, excepting musculature and anatomy. (a big exception, I know) But I credit general understanding of art and willingness to experiment with being able to pull off at least a couple different kinds of anime face. I swear it comes in handy!
