Ya know, I really really love windows and light and somewhat domestic scenes. There was a time when I was not drawing cute anime girls and weird creatures, when I would just be painting or shading. And you'd find my composition always had something more of an Andrew Wyeth than a Alessandro Barbucci look to it. I was never quite so good of course, but there is a deep and solemn beauty to light just hitting a corner just right. Such reverence even showed up in my prose. But if I'd always stayed so serious, I could draw a shawled shark cartoon guy smelling through the window a wonderful dish being stewed up.
