DC: Chapter 184/185

Chapter 184

Universe Biotechnology Co., Ltd.

Negative second floor.

Multiple Hera models, dressed in white lab coats, moved back and forth in an orderly fashion—attractive figures clad in black stockings, white stockings, professional suits, or short nurse skirts—every style imaginable was present.

In this mysterious biological lab reminiscent of a sci-fi film, the ground was covered in drifting cold mist, giving it an otherworldly, beautiful yet uncanny atmosphere.

Inside an oversized incubation pod—a sealed glass container—the air felt heavy and stifling. The pores were clogged, the space narrow. Bardi could clearly feel his own heartbeat pounding beside his ears, the flow of blood within, and the stinging pain radiating throughout his body.

Through the glass, he could see the various Hera models outside. Their seductive figures twisted and swayed, their reflections distorted through the refraction of the container, blurring into a surreal, captivating vision.

Bardi closed his eyes, relaxed his body, and entered a meditative state using a modified technique passed down from Raven and Zatara. He adjusted it for deeper focus, centering his mind and soul, to feel the unique sensation of the fusion between soul and genes. At this moment, every tingle in his body intensified, his pores screamed, his cells trembled on the verge of collapse.

Outside, Hera's voices echoed faintly. The tranquilizing gas released into the sealed glass container gradually pulled Bardi into a meditative slumber, a hazy yet conscious awareness of his body remaining.

One Hera, wearing black-rimmed glasses, with fair skin, black stockings, a pencil skirt, white shirt, and an alluring figure—clearly the commander-in-chief—observed Bardi entering the state and issued a series of crisp orders.

"Inject stable nutrients, stem cells, envelope cells, lymphoid and hematopoietic cells, mesothelial cells... initiate cell division."

"Begin permanent cell regeneration and proliferation. Ensure stability in protective tissue, parenchymal tissue, mechanical tissue, transport tissue, secretory tissue... all systems stable."

"Commence resting phase of cell movement. Begin DNA synthesis pre-stage. Ensure architectural stability."

"Extract genetic information…"

"Enhancer gene factor, trans-acting factor, upstream promoter element—binding—transcription efficiency at 30%... 50%... 100%... 200%... 300%... 500%..."

"Transcribe DNA sequence information. Amino acids. Enhancers. Solar energy. Combined protein synthesis complete."

"Kryptonian gene helix structure stable…"

"Genetic support structure of the magical true form remains unaffected…"

"Genetic transcription and coding stable…"

All monitoring and operations were directed by the artificial intelligence Hera. Under her coordination, Hera bodies of various models and personalities carried out tasks in perfect synchronization.

Within his meditative focus, Bardi vaguely sensed a spiritual immersion—connecting with the gene strands that resembled spiraling helixes—fusing and constructing in harmony. The sensation lasted but a fleeting moment.

Then, his cells began to change. The pain subsided. Rapid proliferation and division followed. The unstable, collapsing cells were entirely replaced—tens of thousands, millions of times—until it felt as if a whole new "person" had emerged.

In these newly regenerated cells, Bardi could sense the nuclei. At the core, his spirit synchronized with each nucleus, running together in tandem.

The nucleus, the control center of the cell, governs metabolism, growth, and differentiation. At this moment, under Bardi's subconscious control, it became like a ravenous glutton—madly devouring energy.

Within the nutrient pipeline, golden solar energy began to flow. The liquid shimmered with a golden brilliance, casting soft, radiant light. Under the glow of the lab's incandescent lamps, this divine luminance made the entire room shine with sacred beauty.

Bardi floated and sank within the golden fluid.

In just three seconds, he had completely absorbed the entire tank of golden solar liquid.

"Continue the infusion!"

The commander-in-chief Hera's eyes sparkled as she commanded more solar energy liquid to be pumped in.

This was beyond prediction.

Bardi's physical condition, after repairing his genetic defect, now surpassed even the high-tier and general-level Kryptonian genes. The fusion of spirit and cells was remarkably perfect, allowing him to unleash the full might of Kryptonian cells.

Three full tanks of solar energy flooded Bardi's cells, elevating him to the same intensity as Jor-El. That alone testified to his immense absorption capacity.

One must know—Jor-El, upon arriving on Earth, had spent a long time absorbing solar energy using the advanced genes he developed. Only then did he reach the level capable of contending with Bardi's collapsing clone.

Now, Bardi had started at that level.

Within his cells, the absorbed solar energy fused into the cytoplasmic fluid. With the nucleus in control, it underwent a process akin to refinement—fully merging to become Bardi's exclusive bodily energy. This could be called solar energy, or rather, Bardi's divine solar energy.

At a certain point, the energy generated by this fusion became strong enough to influence and control his personal magnetic field.

With a subtle movement, a powerful cell deep within him—originating from the nucleus—gave rise to a magnetic force. Each empowered cell linked to its neighboring cell, rapidly forming a complete magnetic field network throughout his body, all under Bardi's mental control.

Bardi's spirit could now clearly perceive this unified body magnetic field—tremendously powerful and wholly under his command.

He could sense the world beyond—the Earth's gravitational pull on him, the interaction between his magnetic field and gravity. Torsion, fluid dynamics, gas flow, aerodynamics, suspended mechanics, turbulent flow theory, viscous fluid mechanics, multiphase fluid mechanics, magnetic body dynamics… every force and interaction between forces now operated under his body's magnetic control.

At this moment, his spirit and body were flawless.

The entire lab fell silent.

A thin mist swirled near the ground, adding tension to the breathless atmosphere.

The commander-in-chief Hera, along with the other beautiful Hera models, all stared, eyes glowing, holding their breath. Their gazes locked onto Bardi's body, now the perfect image of a god, as if forged by the divine, radiating celestial light.

Suddenly.

Bang!

With a thunderous explosion, the sealed glass jar shattered. Shards flew in all directions, slashing through the stockings of many Hera models, drawing blood on their snow-white skin, even scratching their faces. Some pieces tore their clothing, exposing flawless flesh beneath.

None of them cried out in pain. Instead, they all watched intently—eyes sparkling—as they focused on the shattered base of the containment pod.

The cold mist on the floor stirred in waves.

Bardi's perfectly sculpted figure, like white jade, knelt on one knee. His fists pressed to the floor, his head lowered—evoking the image of a Terminator rising.

He slowly lifted his head. Golden light flashed in his eyes. His facial features were sharply defined, tough lines outlined his face like a statue, glowing faintly with golden light.

Chapter 185

There was a smile at the corner of his mouth, and his body trembled with excitement. Every cell in his body screamed with joy, urging him to trample over the world and soar freely across it.

Pong

The base of the glass-sealed jar dented under the impact of the magnetic field he released. A gust of wind burst out, blowing the clothes of the various Hera models. Some of them staggered and fell to the ground.

As soon as he took off, a hole tore through the ceiling. Debris scattered, chunks of stone protruding upward.

Bang bang bang bang bang

He had no intention of stopping. The fluctuations in his heart surged violently, each cell roaring, stretching his power freely and wildly.

Once activated, he pierced straight through all fifteen floors of Universe Biotechnology Co., Ltd.'s lab building, blowing through them like a drill.

Hundreds of employees inside the building were stunned. Rocks flew in all directions. Many screamed in terror.

On the first floor, the guards—some of whom had seen Bardi before in the Suicide Slum or atop the Tower of Babylon—watched him now glowing with god-like radiance and power. Under the sunlight, his powerful body became even more awe-inspiring. Their blood surged, their eyes lit with unshakable belief.

"It's the Boss! God! Barmulodi!"

The shout burst out from one guard, his face wild with frenzy, his breath sharp with excitement.

Lex Luthor, working on the ninth floor, suddenly heard the booming noise overhead. He immediately opened the window and stuck his head out.

There, he saw Bardi hovering in the air above the fifteenth floor. His entire body was bathed in sunlight and glowing with golden light, like a god descending.

"BOSS!"

His eyes flared open, and his heart surged with burning heat. His body trembled as he stared fervently at the figure in the sky.

Raven had been on the first floor, standing by to escort Bardi in case of emergency.

The moment the explosion erupted, and the entire building was pierced, her heart clenched. Without hesitation, she summoned her dark magic. Her expression tightened with fury. At this critical moment, she wouldn't allow anyone to harm Bardi.

Dark magic surged around her. Her cloak whipped violently in the air. Beneath her hood, her black-and-white eyes burned with rage, prepared to annihilate any enemy who dared threaten him.

But then she looked up and saw Bardi standing in the light on the fifteenth floor, radiating golden brilliance under the sun.

She froze. She hadn't expected it to be Bardi. Her violent magic dissipated instantly. The anger in her eyes softened into joy. Surprise and delight overtook her.

She lifted her head and smiled brightly.

Bardi broke through the light-absorbing composite glass on the top floor. When the sunlight hit his body again, he paused.

His cells throbbed with joy. The surge made his hair stand on end. His spirit soared alongside his cells, rising with warmth and excitement. He wanted to stomp on the ceiling and shout at the sky.

Under the sun, he wore a radiant smile. Bathed in sunlight, he seemed to fill the entire world with brilliance.

He lowered his eyes and glanced down.

The devout believers below trembled. Blood rushed through their bodies. Their faces flushed with excitement, shouting, "Barmulodi!"

He passed over Lex Luthor, whose fiery gaze now brimmed with admiration. Little Luthor stared up, overwhelmed by awe.

He smiled at Raven.

That brilliance felt like it illuminated the world.

Raven's smile deepened. She clasped her hands and gazed at Bardi, her heart swelling with joy.

Bardi's excitement never faded. The sun continued shining on him, causing his cells to surge like a torrential river.

He didn't intend to restrain it. Instead, he embraced it. As his cells screamed with life, he allowed himself to be swept up in the excitement.

His smile was at its brightest.

Pong

Suddenly, he raised both hands toward the sky. A sonic boom erupted. Cracks spread across the composite glass of the fifteenth floor. The sounds of splitting intensified until they converged at a single point, and the glass finally exploded.

His figure soared upward. The sun flared high above.

Bardi's heart thundered with excitement. His desire roared. His body's magnetic field erupted violently. He no longer wanted any gravitational ties to Earth. He didn't rely on aerodynamics, propulsion, or lift. He manipulated gravitational flow and airflow particles with pure magnetic force, granting himself absolute flight.

He blasted off like a rocket, breaking the sound barrier. His fists burned red-hot from the friction. With a deafening boom, he soared into the sky.

In midair, Bardi laughed freely and wildly.

Behind him, a long white sonic boom cloud trailed into the sky, tearing a path through the heavens.

He blasted through the troposphere, ripping through the sound barrier. The speed spiked even further. His ferocious, frenzied cells roared in triumph. His boiling blood howled, shattering every limitation.

Above the troposphere, a huge cloud ring burst forth, like a colossal white donut stretching across the sky.

He kept going.

Stratosphere.

Mesosphere.

Thermosphere.

Exosphere.

Finally, his eyes crazed with joy, a wild grin on his face, he reached the outer edge of the atmosphere and emerged beyond.

He turned and looked down at the planet below.

Towering clouds cast shadows over the sunlit plains. The winding mountains and thick forests appeared like moss to his eyes.

In the Atlantic, ships the size of sesame seeds left white trails behind them.

Wildfires burned across parts of Africa, sending black smoke into the sky.

Thunderstorms, flashing with lightning, swept across large swaths of Australia. To his eyes, the clouds looked like black dye spilled onto white cotton.

The entire Earth, all of nature, appeared like a three-dimensional landscape painting.

All of it lay before Bardi.

The sun shone behind his towering form, illuminating the defined muscles and curves of his body. His figure seemed to blot out the sun, casting a shadow over the Earth, shielding the planet from sunlight.

He looked down at the world.

He laughed.

Spreading his five fingers, he held them out toward the planet, as if gripping the blue Earth in one hand.

At that moment, a Soviet reconnaissance satellite passing along its orbit captured this exact scene.
