MHATG: Chapter 319/321

Chapter 319: Tetsutetsu Wakes Up!

Finally, Midoriya and Todoroki, the leading members of the first group, arrived at the 80th floor, panting heavily. However, they were surprised to find that the path to the 81st floor was blocked by an alloy gate.

"Hahh... hahh... what should we do? Should I just break it down?" Todoroki asked, catching his breath while eyeing the gate.

Compared to the sweaty and exhausted Midoriya standing beside him, Todoroki hardly looked tired at all—probably thanks to his Quirk.

"Uhh..."

Midoriya hesitated. He didn't know much about the central tower's layout, and he wasn't the type to act recklessly in a situation like this.

"We should wait for Melissa. Maybe she can come up with a better plan. Besides, we need to rest. If something happens later, we'll be in trouble if we're too exhausted."

"Good idea."

Todoroki nodded in agreement, then walked over to lean against the wall and recover.

"Midoriya-kun! Todoroki-kun!"

About five or six minutes later, Momo and Asui from the second group arrived. Soon after, Melissa and Kyoka from the third group also caught up, all gathering in front of the alloy gate.

"We can't just destroy the gate!"

When Midoriya asked about breaking through, Melissa immediately dismissed the idea. Still catching her breath, she explained:

"If we break it, the security system will trigger an alert, and the villains will know we're heading for the top!"

"But didn't Kaminari destroy a door earlier?" Minoru Mineta asked in confusion.

Melissa shook her head. "Kaminari-kun only destroyed the lobby entrance on the first floor. The villains probably assumed we escaped the tower instead of heading up."

"Then... can't we just go through here?"

Mineta casually walked over to an iron door on the right and reached for the handle. To his surprise, the door swung open easily.

Midoriya and Melissa's expressions changed instantly.

"No—don't!!"

They shouted at the same time, knowing the villains must have noticed them by now!

---

System Control Room, 200th Floor

"Huh? What's going on?"

"Why did the door on the 80th floor suddenly open?"

Inside the control room on the top floor, a pink-haired man in black took a drag from his cigarette before walking up to a white-haired man in black sitting at the monitoring station.

The white-haired man didn't respond immediately. Instead, his fingers danced across the control panel, adjusting the surveillance feed.

Moments later, the screen displayed the 80th floor, showing the figures of Melissa, Midoriya, and six others as they sprinted down the staircase.

At that moment—

Not only did the villains on the top floor see them, but so did the red-haired enforcer on the second floor, All Might, and everyone else watching the security feeds inside the venue.

"All units near the 80th floor, get there immediately! Do not let a single one of those brats escape!"

The iron-masked man barked his orders through his headset, then handed a pistol to one of his men and motioned for two others to go provide backup.

As for himself?

He remained where he was, overseeing the hostages with a squad of ten armed guards.

After all.

They were just a bunch of kids. There was no need for him to step in personally.

---

Back on the 80th Floor

Midoriya, Todoroki, Momo, Kyoka, and the others followed Melissa's guidance, quickly rushing toward the emergency stairwell on the other side of the tower.

But before they could make it.

"No! Todoroki-kun!"

Midoriya's eyes widened as he saw every gate along their escape route beginning to close one after another.

"Tch!"

Without hesitation, Todoroki created massive ice blocks, jamming them between the gates just in time—buying Midoriya the space he needed to leap through.

[Smash!!]

The moment Midoriya landed, he punched a metal door attached to the adjacent wall, breaking it down with brute force.

At this point, there was no need for subtlety.

The villains already knew they were here, there was no point in holding back anymore!

"Where... is this?"

After sprinting through the broken iron door, the eight of them were shocked by the scene ahead.

All around them.

Plants. Trees. Shrubs.

If not for the metallic flooring, Kyoka and Tsuyu might have mistaken this place for an outdoor park.

"This is a plant cultivation lab!" Melissa explained as she followed closely. "They're studying how plants grow under the influence of Quirks."

"Look over there!"

Kyoka suddenly pointed to a distant elevator, the display above it showed it was moving up.

"The villains must be on their way!"

Midoriya's expression hardened.

It wasn't that he was afraid of fighting.

But right now, avoiding a fight was the better strategy.

"Quick, hide! We can't let them find us!"

---

Outside the Hospital in the Living Area

While the situation in the central tower grew more dangerous, Kaminari finally reached the hospital entrance in the residential district.

Behind him.

A sea of deactivated security robots filled the streets, their red warning lights extinguished.

If these were living beings instead of machines, then Kaminari would have left behind a mountain of corpses.

"!"

The moment he saw doctors and nurses rushing out to meet him, he exhaled deeply.

The tension in his body finally eased.

But—

Just like that, his strength gave out.

He collapsed onto the ground, still clutching Tetsutetsu.

His eyelids barely stayed open as he watched the hospital staff approach with a stretcher.

"Hurry
 prepare for a blood transfusion!"

"He's lost too much blood, move quickly, or it'll be too late!"

Hearing that, Kaminari finally let his eyes close.

---

Hospital Room

When Kaminari woke up, the first thing he saw was a yellow-white ceiling.

Then, a familiar voice reached his ears.

"Yo, you're finally awake!"

Instinctively, he turned his head.

There—lying on a hospital bed—was Tetsutetsu, smiling at him. Above him, four blood bags were hanging from an IV stand.

Kaminari pursed his lips.

He didn't say anything.

He didn't need to.

Tetsutetsu was alive. That was enough.

Then, a thought hit him.

His parents.

"...Do you know how long we were out?" Kaminari asked.

Tetsutetsu hesitated. "Not sure... I just woke up too."

At that moment, a doctor walked in, flanked by two nurses.

"You only slept for about ten minutes," he said with a smile.

Then, glancing at Tetsutetsu, the doctor's expression turned to mild surprise.

"Kaminari-kun just collapsed from stress and exhaustion, so it's not surprising that he recovered quickly."

"But you—you almost died from blood loss. Yet, you're already awake?"

"Ahaha!" Tetsutetsu laughed. "Well, I do have a Body Hardening Quirk! My physique's a lot tougher than normal. Plus, I train a lot—"

As they spoke, Kaminari quietly got out of bed.

The doctor frowned. "Where are you going?"

"You need rest, physically and mentally!"

Kaminari's response was short.

"No."

(To be continued.)

Chapter 320: Raikage Joins In!

Kaminari took a deep breath and simply stated the truth, the central tower had been taken over by villains.

There was no way to keep something like this a secret. By morning, the entire world would know that I-Island had been attacked, just like the USJ incident before it.

"So I need to get over there and rescue my parents—now!"

The doctors and nurses looked at each other, mouths slightly open, unable to find the right words. This was beyond anything they had ever experienced.

And considering Tetsutetsu's near-death condition and the clearly abnormal situation outside, it was impossible to doubt Kaminari's claim.

"Then I'll go instead. You just rest under the covers."

As he spoke, Kaminari activated his Electricity Absorbing Physique, drawing charge from the surrounding air to replenish his energy.

He waved briefly at Tetsutetsu, then stepped past the medical staff, heading for the exit.

"Kaminari, wait a second!"

"Huh?"

Kaminari stopped and turned back, only to see Tetsutetsu pointing at the Justice Coat hanging on the wall.

"Put it on. I can't fight alongside you this time, but at least my battle suit can."

For a brief moment, Kaminari stared at the coat.

Then, he looked into Tetsutetsu's determined eyes, nodded, walked over, and put it on—fastening it smoothly.

"Leave it to me."

[Click.]

The door slammed shut behind him.

80th Floor - Plant Cultivation Lab

At the same time, inside what Melissa had called the Plant Cultivation Lab, a battle had finally erupted.

Bakugo and Kirishima had accidentally stumbled upon this floor, and now, along with Todoroki, they were engaged in a fierce fight against two powerful villains.

One villain, a tall man with webbed hands, could release light blue energy waves from his palms. Any ice touched by the energy waves would instantly condense into spherical ice balls.

He had introduced himself—his rule-based Quirk was called Chisel.

It was extremely dangerous.

The other villain was shorter but much bulkier, having transformed into a giant purple-skinned monster, resembling a Hulk-like brute. His sheer strength and durability made him incredibly tough to fight.

Strictly speaking, though, only four people were still battling.

Kirishima had already been smashed into the steel wall while trying to shield Bakugo from the purple giant's attack.

Meanwhile, Midoriya, Kyoka, Melissa, and the others had already been sent to the upper floors via Todoroki's ice platforms before the fight began.

However, this also meant that their climb had become significantly harder.

With the villains now fully aware of their presence, they could no longer move as freely as before.

Almost every staircase leading up had been sealed off by steel gates.

But thanks to Midoriya's quick thinking—and Mineta's oddly useful Quirk—they had managed to reach the 81st floor using a manual escape passage.

Then, when they reached the 100th floor, they suddenly realized.

Every single steel gate was wide open.

"Could it be that the villains lost track of us and forgot to close them?" Uraraka asked as she ran.

Kyoka, running alongside her, frowned. "No. This is probably a trap."

"But even if it is," Midoriya said, leading the way, "we have no choice. If we want to reach the top, we have to go through it."

Upon reaching the 130th floor, they were immediately greeted by a massive group of security robots.

Unlike the ones Kaminari had fought outside, these robots were completely red.

"Looks like they've stopped trying to lock us in and are planning to capture us instead."

Momo pressed against a wall, observing the situation.

Midoriya nodded. "They're starting to take us seriously. They know we're heroes."

"What should we do now?" Tsuyu asked. "None of us have Quirks suited for dealing with this many robots."

"I'll handle it."

Midoriya stepped forward, his gaze locking onto the red support device wrapped around his right wrist—Melissa's Full Gauntlet.

"If I have this, I should be able to take them out."

As soon as he clenched his right fist, the red, watch-like device instantly expanded into a full-arm gauntlet.

The moment Midoriya stepped forward, the red security robots surged toward him, moving like a swarm of ants—some even leaping over obstacles to reach him.

It was a terrifying sight.

But Midoriya's face remained calm, his eyes filled with determination.

"One For All—Full Cowl!"

In the next instant, he tossed aside his red cloak and charged straight in.

"Full Cowl—30% Smash!!!"

BOOM—!

The moment his right fist, collided with the leading robot, a shockwave of pure force erupted through the battlefield.

In a single blow, he cleared a path forward sending dozens of robots flying.

"Whoa! That's incredible!"

Uraraka and the others shouted in excitement as they ran through the opening.

But they knew time was tight.

Seizing the moment, they rushed out of the 130th-floor lobby and continued their ascent toward the 200th floor.

When they arrived at the computer room housing the artificial intelligence server, the opposite door suddenly opened.

"Huh?!"

From within the dimly lit doorway, a wave of glowing red lights appeared.

Followed by even more red security robots, far more than the ones they had just fought.

"Can we only break through?" Midoriya clenched his fists, preparing to strike again, but Melissa grabbed his arm.

"No! If the servers here are damaged, it could interfere with the emergency alert system. We can't risk using destructive attacks!"

"Then leave this to us."

Momo stepped forward, flanked by Kyoka, Tsuyu, and Mineta.

"You, Melissa, and Uraraka should go find another route!" Kyoka added.

Midoriya hesitated—then nodded. "Alright! Let's go!"

As Midoriya and the others rushed out, Momo used her Quirk to create two large directional speakers, placing them on the ground.

"Kyoka, you didn't bring your battle suit, so use this. We just need to hold them off!"

Then, she created a massive blue plastic bucket, filled with something unknown.

The moment she pulled it out, she was already panting—having burned through almost all her fat reserves.

"Damn... this would be so much easier if we could use firearms."

Mineta, meanwhile, was frantically pulling grapes off his head and hurling them at the robots while Kyoka blasted sound waves through the speakers.

Tsuyu handled the stragglers, while Momo's bucket—full of high-strength glue—was poured straight onto the battlefield.

Robots were instantly trapped, causing complete chaos.

At the same time—

A brilliant golden flash fell from the night sky.

Kaminari landed at the entrance of the central tower, stepping into Hall No. 7 once more.

He looked up coldly toward the second floor.

Without a word, he strode forward, his Justice Coat billowing in the wind.

Raikage Kaminari Denki has arrived.

(To be continued.)

Chapter 321: Save the Hostages!

On the second-floor balcony of the party venue, Kaminari crouched behind a pillar, peering down at the villains below as he silently counted their numbers.

"Ten hostiles. The iron-masked guy isn't here—looks like he went after Midoriya and the others."

His mind raced as he assessed the situation.

How do I take out these armed villains while ensuring everyone's safety?

In reality, things weren't as bad as he had feared.

The boss who nearly killed Tetsutetsu was nowhere in sight.

"If I can't save everyone
then at the very least, I have to protect my parents."

Taking a deep breath, Kaminari reached for the Golden Poké Ball strapped to his waist.

Since the final exam, he had deliberately avoided relying too much on Gold Sand, leaving four of these Poké Balls at home and only carrying one with him.

Still—he never left without one.

Because while his Quirks were excellent in combat, they lacked the versatility needed for rescue operations.

If Pikachu were here, it would be controlling the Golden PokĂ© Ball instead. But right now, Pikachu was downstairs—which meant Kaminari had to handle this himself.

He crouched lower, gripping the pillar with his left hand while holding the Golden Poké Ball in his right. His eyes slowly closed.

At the same time, golden electricity began crackling around his body.

The sparks quickly gathered, forming an aura of golden flames—the telltale sign of his High-Voltage Mode.

Normally, this mode was accompanied by an intense crackling sound—but Kaminari couldn't afford to alert the villains below.

So instead—

He carefully activated God-Speed first, then gradually transitioned into High-Voltage Mode.

Every movement was precise.

Then, he adjusted his breathing rhythm, using the Breathing Techniques taught to him by Edgeshot.

His body entered a state of deep meditation, almost as if he were sleeping.

But his mind?

It was sharper than ever.

His electrical energy combined with the radio waves generated by High-Voltage Mode, forming a unique electromagnetic field.

Suddenly, his senses expanded.

It was as if he could see and hear everything with perfect clarity.

This technique—known as "Mantra" in One Piece, used by Enel—was something Kaminari had personally renamed:

"Radar."

Unfortunately, his Meditation skills were still lacking.

Unlike Aizawa, who could suppress his presence while monitoring his surroundings, Kaminari's awareness wasn't fully controlled yet.

Zzzzt—

A subtle crackle echoed as the Golden Poké Ball in his palm floated into the air, then disassembled itself.

In mere moments, it transformed into ten long, thin golden needles.

"Go."

Through Radar, Kaminari locked onto every gun-wielding villain.

Then—after counting down from three—he fired.

Swish! Swish! Swish! Swish! Swish! Swish!

The ten electrified needles shot through the air, glowing gold beneath the ballroom's massive crystal chandelier.

"?!?"

"What the—!"

"Look out!!"

Some villains spotted the incoming attack—but it was too late.

The needles were too fast, too unpredictable, and too numerous.

The guards were paralyzed with hesitation, unable to determine where to shoot.

"Agh—my hand!!"

"What the hell?! Electricity?! It's electrified!!"

The needles stabbed directly into their palms.

Pain surged through them as paralysis took hold. Their fingers went numb, and their weapons clattered to the floor.

"Golden needles? Electricity?!"

On the stage, All Might, who had been lying motionless suddenly snapped his head up.

His eyes widened.

"Kaminari, boy!!"

But before he could react—

A golden flash descended from above.

Kaminari dove down from the second floor, Justice Coat billowing, heading straight for the only villain who hadn't been hit by a needle!

"Go to hell!!"

The villain, clad in black body armor and a tactical mask reacted instantly.

He dodged sideways, deflecting one of the golden needles with the butt of his rifle, then immediately aimed his gun upwards.

A trained elite.

"Kaminari, watch out!!"

All Might shouted.

"Kaminari!!"

His parents nearly screamed in terror.

Any parent would panic seeing their child getting shot at.

Everyone in the room held their breath—

But then—

They witnessed the impossible.

"Oh
 my
 god
"

A blonde woman from the U.S. gasped, covering her mouth.

The bullets.

Stopped.

A full meter away from Kaminari.

It was as if time had frozen.

The villain's rifle muzzle was still spitting fire, but it was useless.

Every single bullet hovered motionless in the air, unable to touch him.

Meanwhile, Kaminari kept moving.

Leaping from the balcony, he crashed into the villain, grabbing his helmet and slamming him face-first into the ground.

It didn't even take two seconds.

BANG!

CRACK—!

"AAGGHHHHH!!!"

A violent surge of electricity erupted from Kaminari's right hand, causing the villain to convulse violently.

Ignoring his screams, Kaminari raised his left hand.

And snapped his fingers.

"Lightning Chain—500,000 Volts!"

Golden lightning surged from his palm, connecting to the golden needles embedded in the villains' hands.

ZZZZZTTTT!!

Electric currents spread instantly, engulfing every single villain in a chain reaction of electricity.

"AAAGGHHH!!!"

Their screams filled the hall as their bodies convulsed uncontrollably.

As the last villain hit the ground, the ballroom fell into absolute silence.

All eyes turned to the blond-haired boy standing tall in the center of the room.

The golden aura surrounding him slowly faded.

Then—his gaze softened as he turned toward his parents.

A warm, confident smile spread across his face.

"Dad, Mom—I'm here to save you!"

"Son
!"

His mother ran forward, tears streaming as she threw her arms around him.

Pikachu jumped up, clinging tightly to him as well.

His father let out a shaky breath, his face pale.

"I thought
I thought I was going to lose you."

"I'm fine," Kaminari reassured them, hugging his mother tightly.

As she sobbed into his chest, his eyes darkened.

A deep, unshakable coldness settled into his expression.

"That red-haired masked bastard
 controls metal, doesn't he?"
