I have to imagine in some way, Cassidy or CC is glad they aren’t alone while being dead, and haunting golden Freddy. Like they’ve been together for 30+ years, the only company they’ve had really is one another, and even though their situation isn’t the best, they are dead, they are suffering, at the very least of all that, they have each other
I think there’s something very bittersweet in that sentiment, and it’s something pretty unique to these two, seeing there isn’t many other haunted animatronics we know of haunted by 2 or more people, so they really do stand out in this regard,, anyway!! I hope you enjoy this comic!

Being more serious, it’s always been my personal head cannon that the only reason Cassidy and Evan are so lucid is because they’re stuck together. Stuff like the Puppet’s line in UCN about “the others are like animals” and Evan’s seemingly missing memory in the log book has caused me to believe that the longer spirits possess the suits alone the more their sanity and awareness fades. Therefore the only reason that Cassidy, and Evan after he got his memory back was able to stay sane and themselves were because they were trapped together.
