In the good ending of FNAF 3, the song that plays over it is called “please don’t go” and that song/title gave me the idea for this comic
From the knowledge we have from the survival logbook and even the story with Hudson from frights, it really paints a clearer picture of what’s even going on in FNAF 3
The frights story explains that Springtrap is so covered in remnant that even being around him makes you hallucinate, and specifically stuff like your own trauma. So all those minigames and touching numbers into the walls, does happen in a sense Michael is hallucinating a bit here
The survival logbook lets us know too that Michael and Cassidy were trying to help Dave, cc, remember his name and who he is, obviously to help him pass on. This is even clear with stuff like the movie, the movie’s version of Cassidy also talks to Mike quite a bit to get his help. Which the game versions do succeed in giving him his happiest day, the birthday he never had.
I think there’s something so sad and touching about, Dave only having moments to remember and Michael trying to use said moments to say he’s sorry, plus the song name, they don’t want him to go, but it’s the right thing to do.
Sorry for yalls weekly angst, this idea truly just came to me and I just had the need to do it fr. Btw this is just my own personal interpretation of what’s happening in FNAF, and I much more prefer narrative over every lil detail in FNAF having an answer. Pff I still like to think FNAF 3 takes place in 2015, seeing that was sorta the joke when it came out, it begin released in the “modern day” which I feel gets lost in translation the further away we get from that era BAHAH anyhow!! I hope you enjoy this comic!! 🩵💜
