More of Michael and his mother,, I’ve been enjoying exploring what sort of mother Mrs Afton was.

I like the idea that Michael actually shares a ton more in common with her than even with his father. Has Afton’s looks, cursed by his face.. but I think Michael’s personality, his dry humour, his likes, etc and his resolve to do good all comes from his mother

So going off that thought, I like to think Michael got his love for soap operas through his mother,, something they enjoyed to do together, just sit on the couch, make some popcorn and just watch these. I could see Michael would just be there at the tv, not really watching but over time just got invested as it went on. So now it’s a comfort in his adulthood to do the exact same thing. Watch his tv shows when he comes home to relax,,

I’ve been really enjoying writing out, and exploring Mrs Afton’s character more, but any new connection and thought I make about her truly ruins my lil heart BAHAH Michael being a mamas boy is just a new sting to add to the others, anyway!! I hope you enjoy this comic!! 🩵💜
