Tbh there’s really no doubt in my mind that like.. Vanessa is a cop in the fnaf movie, because her father pressured her into it. Like not to take away anything she did to get there, but you can kinda feel his influence ALL over her decision in her job

There are other things that bring her way more joy for one, like teaching people things, and even working with kids. She takes care of the animatronics, the child spirits, she lights up being around Abby. She enjoys child entertainment and all of that, meanwhile she does her job cause it’s her job.

I think truly she’s a cop because William wanted her to cover up for him, like she works in the region Freddy’s is located, somehow William was able to change his name and get a whole new job. Slipped into the shadows. Despite the place being suspected of very suspicious things, it’s not heavily looked at, and even seems fully forgotten. Hell recent murders take place there, William has a device made to get remnant out of people. Yet that’s all covered up, nobody comes looking, nobody knows the last places these people been, and that’s probably due to Vanessa’s meddling. She sweeps everything under the rug for William, so he’s been able to skate by for years.

This is why William got jumped dude he deserves it BAHA I hope Vanessa can get a new job or just new start at her life in the next film, not so focused around serving her father. Anyway I hope you enjoy this comic!! 🩵💜
