I really wanted to draw Vanny again, but specifically Vanny being scary. I feel like Vanny isn’t considered that scary? Mean I think most just finds her cool or pretty, or even cute, which is fair, she’s so silly and whimsy

BUT a lowkey goal for me is like trying to explore Vanessa/Vanny as many ways I can, especially how disturbing her story really is, and HOW scary she actually is. I think something overlooked is the fact is how Vanny’s face is totally solid, it doesn’t change expressions or anything. So you get this constant kinda creepy smile from her? Empty eyes, but fluid motion in her body, there’s something really uncanny with her. Especially compared to the others, the Glamrocks, they are so animated in their faces and everything, so being faced with Vanny she truly stands out

I’ve tried to show that off here, with Glamrock Freddy unable to see Vanny, while Gregory can see her fully, something about that fact Freddy can’t see her, I wonder what he assumes if something were to happen like Gregory getting him. Just Gregory’s biggest defence can’t see his greatest threat,,

Anyway I enjoyed drawing this out!!! Especially the lighting, I always have fun doing the lighting in these sorts of pieces, drawing Vanny of course is always a joy too, anyway I hope you enjoy this comic!! 🩵💜
