It’s time for yall’s weekly angst art, eat up girlies!! On a serious note, I’ve recently been enjoying Tyler the creator’s new album, and of course the song “Like him” has been a stand out.

I was considering already making a comic around the song before it became like a big edit song, probably just got the same idea everyone else did. I wanted to take it a slightly different direction, from the father child pov, but tbh I might make another comic semi around this concept again, it just surprisingly works with fnaf in particular BAHAH

The idea that Gregory looks like David, that in a way he’s a stand in for him, something to rep him, just a general thematic call back etc. That in the story itself, Gregory reminds even the mimic of his own David, and for this comic Michael sees him as his brother David. That Gregory gets this feeling Michael sees him like someone else, and he picks up on it just by how he is around him sometimes. He wants to know if he “looks like him”

For Michael, I’ve always had him treat Gregory as a little brother, and there’s something so bittersweet with him seeing his own brother IN Gregory. Another chance to be better to him, something that fills that hole in his heart. Even in the movie, Mike sees a lot of Garrett in Abby, this is just a core to Michael as character,,,

SO if an idea makes me sniffle, means I gotta share it to yall BAHAH so I’m not alone in thinking about it, people have asked quite a bit for more Afton family content and tbh I’m definitely considering it. Think there’s more I can do explore with certain characters, so yeah!! I hope you enjoy this comic 🩵💜
