Death on Vanny’s shoulder (mini comic #385)

I oddly don’t see a ton of talk on Nightmarionne, definitely things here and there, stuff in bigger theories etc, even so people don’t usually draw out these said ideas or interpretations. I’m guessing cause it’s still sorta up in the air on what exactly nightmare Marionette is all about, they are kinda an enigma. Going from a character who was said to “not be canon” to one that is totally canon and is present throughout the Pizzaplex era. To why? Again no real reason given, but I wanted to say what I’ve interpreted

I take Nightmarionne as a symbol of “death” throughout these games, you can find Nightmare Marionette plushies, usually hidden in very obscure places. Though with these placements, we always learn of something tragic that happens, the most recent example even is in HW2, where before the boss room you can find a plush hiding behind some decor. So my personal takeaway from their weird appearances, is they are a symbol of death.

They resemble the puppet after all, which was a weird detail cause on all accounts, Charlie should be passed on, but If the puppet gives life, it makes sense to me that Nightmarionne gives death. Or at least warns of it, is a watcher of it.

Where it exactly came from I’ll let others decide LMAO similar to old man consequences, they feel more metaphorical than really a character, a manifestation of sorts. NOW WITH ALL that said I wanted to show that concept off in a way, where Vanessa commits a crime, obviously without her own knowledge, and is horrified to what she has done. While she figures that out, she doesn’t know there’s a watchful eye over her, someone seeing it all, death all around her, death on her shoulder. THIS comic was a lot of fun to draw out, been loving doing the horror lately, I actually especially love the ones with Vanessa so far, and any that deals with more story moments interpretation, etc. cause let’s me explore the parts of fnaf that is usually too heavy to usually cover. TBH horror may become way more regular of a thing even outside of Halloween but we’ll see! Anyway I hope you enjoy this comic!! 💜🩵
