This version is bugged, so that's likely why you can't solve it; you'll need to download the next demo (v0.47v2) for the fix, where you should be able to solve it :)

I feel dumb, I can't seem to solve the puzzle. Can someone show me the solution to it please?

Yeah, that's an error we've fixed in subsequent builds so that glitch shoudln't happen anymore!

Just did the laser puzzle, I think i may have glitched it with hitting the bottom right crystal with a charge shot and it went off a few degrees from the normal snap angles. Once i figured out that was not intended I reset and figured it out. Felt a bit tough, but I enjoyed it. Could be better and a bit easier if you zoom out camera a bit to see more of whats going on with the laser bounces. Overall enjoyed it though!

So unfortunately implementing something like this, especially this late in production, would be pretty time-consuming. More than that though, having to design the crystals in a way that Talia would be able to reach each one would probably limit the design a lot for angles and all that. It's still a good suggestion though; for Faye's game, when she's got more mobility and stuff like that, we might end up doing something like this!

I really liked the new puzzle element with the crystals and beams but i think its a bit anoying to have to shot them so much espacially the one with the elevator. I can see how shooting them can give the player a challange where he has to time his shots like in the electric level where you had to shoot the gravity switches through a small hole while falling, still i dont know how easy it would be to implement but id love to see a way where if a crystal is on the floor you can just walk up to it and manually turn it, like the steering wheel of a boat, that would just be quicker and more precise. Neverthenless i really like the puzzle element good job.

Well its quite the subtle solution and it gives you that "Aha" moment when you realise it. I also gotta admit the "secret" set the expectations for encyclopedic knowledge in the next patch.

In the full game, there'll be an "in-between level" where you'll have just one ring, one crystal, and some ice to show players how the mechanic works, because they'll have to solve that to advance to the actual level. All levels will get an "in-between" tutorial-esque level to show that level's mechanics before they enter the level, etc. For the ice too, I figured the first crystal bouncing off the mirrors at the start would show that, but that is a good point as it's somewhat off-screen, yeah. The top-most crystal is actually a red herring / bait; people were able to use it to complete the puzzle though unintentionally, so we've removed that crystal so that the intended solution is the only one left, with the middle crystal still serving as a red herring/bait.

My thoughts on the puzzle is that it took abit of trial and error with constant checkups on the alignement of the crystals. Also the top most crystal that you can only hit while riding the elevator up was abit annoying, but otherwise once i found the solution it was pretty good. Might wanna add some kind of hint about the clear icy surfaces being able to reflect the laser.

Hey, so for whatever reason, this bug only appears in the version we just put out; in our in-house editor version, it doesn't happen, so we're going to figure out why that happens and fix it ASAP! Thanks a lot for finding this out!

This is an edit after my previous comment turns out I was being an idiot and didnt see another crystal that i can shine the laser towards resulting to be able to solve the possible but the fact I can reach new angles still remains true and this threw me way off thinking that its just some sort of bug since its a demo. I repeated several times and managed to reproduce the effect especially the crystal that is on the ground right next to hole that leads to a different map.

I dont know if im just terrible at the puzzle but for the room p2m1 with the laser puzzle its a bit frustrating to turn the laser stone thingys. At the moment of this message I have yet to solve it but the turning is very inconsistent, what I mean by inconsistent is that with the basic shots it doesnt reach certain angles that I think that the laser should be reachinig. Again I dont know if im just being horrible at the puzzle or not but thats not the main issue. The main issue is that I can reach new angles if i hit the crystals with charged shots. Because of this you can pretty much turn the crystal in a 360 degree and because basic shots only turn a certain angle this makes way too much guesswork to using both charged shots and basic shots making it more frustrated to know which crystal should the laser be reaching.

There seems to be a problem with switching powers, the game wont let me switch to any other powers even after re-mapping the keys. I have tried loading up your other demos and the power switch system seems to work fine there. Other than that the demo looks good!
