Possible Original Stories
Added 2024-11-23 01:34:24 +0000 UTCI've been tempted to start writing original content again. Potentially posting the chapters here in rotation.
Given my recent spike of anime viewing, the ideas are similar in kind.
Idea 1
Portals to dungeons begin to appear around the world. People chosen seemingly at random are able to enter. This is in hopes to prepare the world for the rapidly approaching inclusion of System Worlds.
Idea 2
Terraforming near-Earth planets has some unexpected consequences. Namely local fauna mutated into monsters. Colonies are safeish in large cities protected by walls. Desperate to start another colony, Knights are dispatched to 'tame' an area. Power Armor style mechs versus monsters. Mix in some town building elements.
Idea 3
Classic anime concept. Character pulled in game as villain. Possibly taking the idea of it being a game they hate or badmouthed.
Thoughts?

1 or 3. Mecha and terraforming are just too impersonal to be fun to read and require a large cast and setting if you really want to sell the setting (ie. Where is all the stuff being produced? Who fixes Mecha? Anything close to car sized would require a company the size of a car manufacturer. Etc etc) Regardless I'll probably read what you write 😆

2024-11-23 14:45:22 +0000 UTC2 sounds great, though 3 is nice as well. The added benefit is that you won't be writing an anime generic male lead that is a NEET and a wimp. Though if you pick 2 power armor should be more fallout style of starcraft style n9t giant mechs that's my view anyhow.
