Pollinating around

Their babies are literally born in (what would be the equivalent of) cabbages.
Things being that way, mutual stimulation of "pollinators" is seen as a totally normal thing to do whenever.
Seeing as they only have one (pretty androgynous to human standards) sex, save for colours, the anatomy of each of these small elves is pretty similar.
