Edit: I do feel the need to say the timing of this has everything to do with NCAAB March Madness and it's a complete coincidence that it's coming after Chapter 43.

Seeing the new confident Mari certainly raised her in my esteem, but the revelations from the party definitely lowered Sam in my eyes (and she’s always been one of my top three). Pretty sure that last chapter influenced a lot of readers.
