How would you rate the amount of alliteration in my stories?

I agree it should be a character "quirk" and use it for spoken dialog, like when joking. Maybe occasionally have other characters join in, like when people start trying to outdo each other with puns.

2022-09-25 22:51:03 +0000 UTCI'm trying to remember if it was a Ben thing first or a Matt thing? (It's been a while since I read anything pre-ASL2, so I can't remember if BD was using the alliteration as much back then.) Either way, it should be one character's quirk, and even then maybe should be toned down a bit.

2022-09-25 12:34:36 +0000 UTCThis was my issue. When both Ben and Matt do it, it is harder to see them as distinct narrators, and forces you to remember that they are both characters written by the same author, and make you think that you are not reading Ben's or Matt's experiences, but BDA's fantasies.

2022-09-23 03:37:53 +0000 UTCInitially, I thought, “it’s distracting, but also kinda funny”. But after reading BTC2 Ch2, I’m definitely at “oh that’s right…it pulls me out of the story and I have to skim over it to keep going”.

2022-09-22 04:51:04 +0000 UTCAwesome alliteration. Perfectly pleasing plosives and percussive preludes pertaining positively to present perceptions!
