How would you rate the quantity of sex in my stories?
Added 2021-12-11 00:59:54 +0000 UTCFor the record, the answers here will 100% not change a damn thing one way or the other. Imma keep writing what I like to write. Still, people are curious about the opinions of the masses.
EDIT: Food for thought: Does it count as a sex scene if Ben and a girl just sit there and have a conversation while he's buried in her?

I have to disagree, I believe that both stories have the right amount of sex verses plot, you have to consider that BTC was focused on teenagers getting ready for college, while OSL started in high school and has gone from there, or maybe its just me when you middle school has to put in a nursery for the students, anyways focusing on how teenagers would react, as to how college or young adults react verses adults fresh from college verse adults in their 30's. each are going to react differently.

2021-12-17 13:48:31 +0000 UTCI'd like to see a better balance between the story and the sex scenes personally.

2021-12-13 23:19:29 +0000 UTCI'm one of the "tone it down," minority. We all know Ben is a sex God surrounded by sex Goddesses at this point. I guess I no longer need the level of detail the story gets into unless it's a "special occasion," or something. I've found myself jumping ahead to, "okay, where does the plot pick up again?" more often as the story has progressed. To clarify: Sex on the beach--new, different, and not usual. The nightly orgy at the Berkeley house? Ho-hum at this point.
2021-12-13 19:24:19 +0000 UTCI think the amount of sex is just right considering it’s an erotic story at heart, not a romance novel. My only pet peeve, and it’s not a big deal or anything, is how often in recent chapters the drama occurs during the sex scene. It unfortunately tends to kill the mood a bit or at least dampen the connection to the “show”. I’m not saying that there should be less drama, only that less of it should derail the sex scene as opposed to enhancing it. The drama itself is fine because it adds color to the characters and they become a bit more personable. My personal favorite of the stories is BTC because it was just the right amount of drama with a more light hearted theme.

2021-12-13 16:17:09 +0000 UTCOh, no doubt. I mean, I'm sure folk would riot if you cut out the Tri-Delts to make time for something like this. But in general the "personal" bit of this is more what I was getting at, we've had great moments with Brooke/DJ or Lynne for a recent example. I guess I was saying unpopular because I definitely did not have Dawn/Adrienne/Summer in mind when I said this (not meant as criticism, just personally not that interested in either of them at the moment), while most of those agreeing were probably thinking of one of them. I look forward to the "side" characters a lot more, and ASL 1&2 delivered more than enough on that front.

2021-12-13 10:23:53 +0000 UTCThe number of hearts you're getting would indicate it's a popular sentiment. Admittedly, if Ben were limited to one-on-ones, each of the girls would only get serviced like twice a month.

2021-12-13 07:18:13 +0000 UTCWould echo the above sentiment, Sex is great but, the personal development of characters in their one-on-one encounters is most satisfying.

2021-12-11 03:03:29 +0000 UTCInteresting question. Comparing your earlier stories to the more current ones (BTC, ASL2) to the other major works (Billionaire series, Book of David), the style (?) of the sex has changed. The plot in the earlier works was more dynamic and interspersed with the sex scenes, while the current ones are less dynamic of a plot with external forces and more about the emotions of the characters interacting with each other.
