I agree about the BTC not sharing Mattie and for the same reason. If nothing else, If those 4 at UCB want to add others, they need to realize that - as with Benjamin - there is the potential for a relatively stable 'core' in the four of them, and that any new participants are likely to be part of a 'harem' lesser in priority than the core, and possibly lesser than the other original members of the BTC, to include Holly. Or... perhaps they don't realize that and this failure leads to some conflicts, which lead to growth, which leads to a stronger core. Also, Mattie needs his own journey to become more than he was, and in some regards independent of his girls. He needs to realize that he's gotten lucky as regards physical conflict with other men who may exhibit jealousy or covet his girls. Mattie needs to become 'Matthew' a young man fully prepared to risk physical harm, to overcome significant physical adversity and protect his 'quad'.
