As Ben fumbles through the darkness of night, looking for his Happily Ever After, he follows the brightest stars(like AD and DJ) towards his desired destination. Still, not even the brightest of stars in the night sky can bring light to Ben's world. But the world keeps spinning and the night inevitably ends. The sun rises at Dawn, shining a brilliant light on the rest of Ben's life as a happily married man... ...who at night continues to enjoy many of those stars for the rest of his life ;)

Others attach to create triples- Eve with Kim and June, for example. This gives most of them a legal marriage, insurance, etc. They share the big house AD talked about.
