Fill ‘Er Up - Concept
Added 2025-08-30 14:27:43 +0000 UTCI’d been on a search for an airplane panel with a craving to paint some nose art. My friend just happened to have a spare fuel hatch (thanks!).
I wish it was large enough to make sense on the front with the text, but I’ll have to manage with the full framing on the interior side. I might clean it up some and then recreate the dirt with paint.
Still on the fence with the pose, but I do the rear view with pawsoles so much it’s refreshing to make a side pose. Also stick debating on long pant legs or shirt. Long is so cute, but short shows important territory.

I am a HUGE fan of Nose Art and this just strikes me in the right spot. I would absolutely have this on the fuel door of MY plane, that's for sure.

2025-08-30 16:26:46 +0000 UTCFun fact, the aviation fuel the Allies made was much higher octane than the Germans could make from coal conversion. Our planes performed better, especially at altitude because of it.
