I spend so much time drawing my tan/beige hybrid canines, that I was inspired to create a very traditional red fox OC. I also typically don't draw a blonde, so this was my chance to go for a different look. She's conceived as a sporty shorty that packs a lot of power in her small self. Volunteering as a youth volleyball ref/coach or just finding time to be in the sun, she's almost always at the beach. A good friend thought to name her after a really sublime beach in our region.
Both of these are works in progress, but nearly complete, so enjoy now! Details such as water drops, sheen, background figures out of focus and smoothing of lines are still due for these. I also love to change the color of her gear and see how it changes the personality I imagine for her. One trait is consistent - I imagine she is loud! Perhaps she pulls off that two fingered whistle that stops everyone in their tracks.
The hat is a nylon 6-panel cap worn by cyclists. The swimsuit is inspired by landmark 90s bodyglove bikinis that included neoprene and more durable builds. The bright cheekmark is a suncreen still sold as Zinka. The shades are a furry version of the infamous first Oakley Razor Blades.
