$3 Tier Change - BTC Monthly Access
Added 2021-02-10 18:30:57 +0000 UTCHello Everyone- Please be advised those in the $3 Patron Tier will start losing access to the January BTC chapters shortly. I'm switching to a rolling Monthly Access format under which the $3 Tier will have access to one month's worth of material. You will still have access to February chapters and of course any new chapters that publish during the month of March. So for everyone currently in the $3 Tier, you shouldn't really miss anything, and text files have been added as attachments to each chapter so you can download personal copies. This rolling monthly access will continue going forward, and the same will be true of ASL2 chapters once they start posting.
The purpose of this modification in benefits is to impact future subscriptions. Once BTC publishes on public websites, new patrons will not be able to access all BTC chapters back to the beginning without signing up for at least the $5 Tier. But those loyal Patrons currently in the $3 Tier will still get everything as it posts the same day as everyone else, and again you can save the attached text files for your own personal copies from each chapter, so you're really not missing out on much. Meanwhile, those in the $5 All-Access Tier and above will continue to have access to all chapters at any time.

That's a great idea! I'll attach the .txt files to each posted chapter and you all can download them there. I'll also edit the text above.

2021-02-10 22:18:48 +0000 UTCWell, I know many authors usually post some form of digital file with the chapters (some in many formats, others as simple as txt or doc files) Perhaps post the txt files attached for the $3 tier, letting them fall off on the monthly basis as you planned, and the digital copies folder for the $5 tier access. Just a thought...
