Yes, that's on purpose. It's an interesting ability for a sword and the Dungeon offers endless enemies to get blood from. So, it's a boost to have a weapon that can repair itself through blood/blood iron absorption.

This was an absolutely awesome and very fun read, and I’m really excited to see where the story goes. The sword that Bell came across is also very entertaining and really useful as well. I meant that I was surprised it was based off of Asuna Kagurazaka’s sword, since taking into account it’s ability, my mind conjured the sword Kubikiribōchō. And it’s also great that he met wealth so early with a future cool set of armor planned out, I assume a set of samurai like armor? One thing I thought might’ve been cool for the armor though would be if Bell’s new sword is broken, and he has to spend some time, letting it get built up again. But with the broken pieces, he has that into his new armor, so that it can repair itself as he slaughters more monsters lol. I really liked the dialogue for when Bell was reading the Grimoire, as it had some great emotion into it. The magic he ended up receiving is also really cool and I’m really excited to see how far he can take that. Most especially how far he can take it with an actual Storm God teaching him about his storm magic. Overall, thanks for another awesome story. Lastly, because it’s the month of Halloween, I thought of a Halloween oriented Bell story. Considering his ruby eyes, and strong lineage, may be due to a twist of magic and fate, you get a vampire Bell. As for what kind of vampire, you could go with an Alucard style vampire, Dracula Untold style, or a particular vampire style of your choice. He could have incredible natural physical capabilities, vampire abilities of your choosing, but may be a weakness to sun that is circumvented by something like a daylight ring that his grandfather got him. He can feed on the blood of monsters to get stronger, the blood of adventure is also strengthen him, and so he has a way with the ladies, his bite can feel pretty damn good when he wants it to. Lol. Ask for any magic and skills he might have, that would be based on the god or goddess he is under and what species of vampire you decide on him being. Again, this is mostly a random idea that I thought of since it’s Halloween lol 🤷‍♂️.

Hopefully, his Growth hack skill won't be as crazy as the canon one lmao. That thing's just insane, especially when you start trying to imagine what Bell would look like after having had it for just a few years, no mind several or a decade or more. It's part of the reason why I don't like Omori's "genius" idea of trying to cram everything into a single in-universe year. Seriously, the canon story would have been a lot better in damn near every area if Omori had simply just given Bell a slower growth type skill that feels like something actually semi-realistic, smh. Nice, I'm a fan of good ol' Yami, never did get into DBZ long enough to know much about Popo though. Fair enough on that, it's already busted enough as is, double so once (I assume) it starts getting enhanced later down the line. I like the sound of the fighting style you intend to go with

Glad you like it! Also, yes, Bell will get a Growth Hack Skill! Will there be years of Adventuring? It is somethign I wouldn't mind exploring in all of my Danmachi Fics, to be honest. Since I fully agree that Omori is kinda dumb for cramming everything into a single in-story year. Susano'o's personality will be revealed more as the story goes on, he has a bit of Yami and a bit of TFS!Popo in him! lol His sword only has Kubikiribocho's repair via blood ability, yes. I plan to make Bell's fighting style a mix between hack and slash, and overwhelming Magic, because we don't really see that much in Canon.

Now this type of potentially complete Canon breaking fics is the stuff I love the most. I'm excited to see where you take this thing in the future. A few questions though. Is Bell still gonna have the absolutely busted growth skill? Cuz it's pretty easy to twist his original thing into something like extreme desire to be strong enough asap to protect everyone his loves like most heroes that become the real famous and strong type. If not, I assume that would mean you'd make the fic go through at least a few years of his life as he grows at a more steady, if still big, rate? Completely fine by me, since that's currently one of my biggest gripes with Danmachi, it apparently being supposed to last only a full year or so only. I'm curious to see to what a Bell with some actual years of adventuring under his belt would be like (Ought to be less of a blushing prudely mess, for one ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) ). Finally, are the BC Yami and Zabuza references only gonna go as far as the surpass your limits motto and blood repairing ability, respectively or even further?
