Devil Fruit Users weaken in any body of water that covers them above the knee, and the weakening gets worse the more they're covered. Sea water, fresh water, it doesn't matter, they sink like hammers. You're making quite a few assumptions about a story that's DRASTICALLY different from Canon. Also, Robin never sank any Marine Ships, that was the cover story that the WG came up with to hide the fact that Robin could read the Poneglyphs, because A LOT of criminal elements in the world would stop at nothing to get their hands on the Ancient Weapons. If everyone simply thought she got her bounty by sinking Marine vessels, then that worked out better for the government.

2023-12-20 18:42:53 +0000 UTCwell not exactly correct with the bathing. as long as its not sea water he can take a bath no issue. luffy's going to run a foul with the world nobles/marines at one point so don't see him remaining just a adventurer for long specially if he gets robin as a crew member which is wanted by the world government, by being a survivor of ohara's buster call and sinking many marine ships when she was young.

Also I agree with MrKrist who mentions that people should've recognized the Monkey D name but obviously plot armor prevented that from happening. Seriously MONKEY D Dragon is the leader of the revolutionaries and the "Most Wanted Man In The World" and MONKEY D Garp is the "Hero of the Marines" so obviously only plot armor prevented people from realizing that 2+2 = 4 and there's a clear connection between all 3 of them. I can't wait for the Arabasta/Alabasta arc as I think you'll put a fun twist on how Luffy handles Baroque Works and Crocodile and I'm sure Robin will be another of Luffy's hot as hell lovers. I'd advise you to avoid seeing Red when you head to Japan as I read about the ending and it pisses me off lol

I've always wondered how Luffy's family was almost unknown to most since it had worldwide well-known or infamous members like Monkey D. Garp, Monkey D. Dragon and the future Pirate King Monkey D. Luffy :3

First i expected the physical abilities and something to do with the staff and cloud, bcoz they are the most well know abilities. All of it however.. I'm two minds about that tbh. It's just a bit too versatile to fit the capabilities of a Devil Fruit. Other Mythical Zoans introduced so far are pretty straightforward in comparison in their abilities. On the other hand.. Well, it's just really cool as long as i don't think too hard about it. And since you went all out with Sun Wukong aspect, it wouldn't be too farfetched to give Luffy some armor too. Yes, that would mean, he's nearly an OC at that point, considering he seems to be a fair bit more intelligent than his canon counterpart... But still.. Not sure how the straw hat would look with the armor though. all in all, i would definitely like to see this happening. Keep up the good work and thx for the effort!
