Yuki met Kiza while stationed in the Vigoran Cluster shortly after basic. A no-nonsense, straight-laced Sphylnx gal, with no interest in her original species' custom of self-expression and exploration once they hit maturity, she instead chose to enlist for the Allied Federation. She'd end up exploring her sexuality anyway though, thanks to Yuki's determination to pique this cat's bi-curiosity.

From there, she became one of the highest-ranking members of her species in the Federation. Lieutenant Kiza of the 114th serves on the edge of Allied and Treaty space under Vice Admiral Harkin. Patrolling the borders of the territory. The first response against pirate raids on nearby stations and colonies.

While her duty comes first, her personal ambition is vengeance against Pirate Queen Nahve. Their game of cat and mouse extends across the star maps. Their dance peaked at the battle of Saxis X, where the two met face to face at last, where Kiza faced her most humiliating defeat yet shortly before the Narn made her escape yet again.

Being on the border of Allied jurisdiction--where the first response is often last, the Lieutenant finds herself outsourcing bounty hunters to finish what she begins when it escapes her grasp. And often, those bounty hunters include one Yuki Tsukamoto.

Though Kiza feels just the slightest pang of nostalgia for the sapie, so too does she feel the slightest resentment for her. Knowing what lies underneath all the black ink on her record since they were together. Her judgment is one of the few Yuki can't scoff at, recognizing her as one of the few moral and lawfully good people she knows corrupt universe.
