Wassup July? (AKA Coming soon...)

So, a new month, new art, comics, and audio, but what're we up to specifically?

Well, the first thing is a change in our management style. I, Sadistic Dreamer, for the first time, will be hyper-focusing on writing and editing while handing the reigns of production management to a newcomer from within our show's existing cast/crew. Their task will be to keep me on task and on schedule to deliver new scripts and audio in a timely fashion.

This was my idea; being a writer, creator, and editor is my jam, but being a producer... less so.

So that's happening :)

As for art, you can expect:

- Nynosuke (formerly Nyka): A longtime collaborator of mine delivering some unique character concepts. Giving life to characters and species who will be, or already have appeared in the show (including one lovely Yuki piece we'll post soon).

- Satanya will explore Yuki's relationship with Nyda and Xarong with two new pieces, speaking of...

- Skyfantasy in 4-5 pages, will be wrapping up this arc in Fear and Loathing in Asmodaeva, and from there, well... perhaps we'll run a poll on what you all want to see next ;)

The next page is something new too. A "composite panel". Can't wait to show it when it's finished.

- Two individual pieces by GrownUpJ and Nikolai.

- A bunch of animations in the works thanks to ESRoi and BloodEclipse.

- Yuki: Highs and Lows, a short comic written and drawn by Lewdistrator will be up.

- Video versions of Episodes 2-5 (audiograms with some nice animations and use of existing artwork).

- A few more music tracks by OZU and D4K.

And for the main event, audios. We've been pushed back a little by the Spotify removal thing as our less-explicit edits have been prioritized so we can get back on that platform ASAP. But nonetheless, the work continues on our main unadulterated adult content:

- Yuki: Space Assassin (the "fade to black" cut), just for Spotify. We'll be doing some edits of Yuki episodes that'll suit the platform's comfort level. When I first wrote these edits, I had in mind to just slap something together to keep the lights on and maintain a presence on our biggest platform, but they're coming along... quite nicely, with nice detailed voiceovers for fans of less content.

Not what I intended to make... but, it feels nice to give people that option if they want it. I'm not mad about opportunities to bring in a bigger listener base. Plus, each episode will come with a tag inviting people to check out the original edits, so that can't hurt either.

- At long last, The Desert Rose: Chapter 1 will be completed sometime next month. It's already deep in production, and a preview will be posted shortly after this post for those of you Space Pirates.

- Yuki: Episode 6. If there's one thing I'm immensely pleased about, it's how people love Yuki episodes for different reasons. Episode 1 was dark, Episode 2 was raunchy, Episode 5 was realistic, etc.

Episode 6 is dark, hilarious, and probably the most action-packed one so far.

Honestly? Probably an August release. A lot of Kitten's recordings have shifted to the "Fade to Black" cuts. All the same, we're posting a very short preview for Space Pirates on what we've got so far. But that won't be Yuki's only presence next month.

- Yuki: Fast Ones. Some old questions, some new, we've picked a whole crop of listener questions for you all ;)

And that's all that's coming to mind! As a writer, I'm not an architect. I'm a gardener. I plant the seed (heh), do the work, and whatever takes shape is what takes shape. An artist I've circled for months might write back, and that'll take priority, I could think of a funny POV and write that, and depending on the complexity, it'll get done before Episode 6. Who knows?

One thing's for sure, s*** will get done. With a new production assistant, a freelance writer who's down for mercenary tasks, and a new sound artist who can match my audio editing style pretty darn well and can help maximize my efforts as he has while I worked on Episode 5 and he worked on Bone-Us #3.

S*** will get done.
