the future of character tier

hey guys, let this be the post in that says I will officially be discontinuing character tier. It's no secret that over the course of this patreon it's been a very finicky, annoying, and particular thing to deal with, partially owed to patreon being a monthly service, and my inability to provide monthly updates over the past couple of months. When I reopen development officially, which should hopefully be within the next two months, I am going to be switching characters in the game over to a commission system. I'm doing this for a couple reasons. One, as I mentioned, it allows me to put a certain amount of characters in each update and not be beholden to a monthly system. Too, it allows me to change the price a lot easier, because I still feel like I'm under charging for these with how much work each scene is. 3, it will avoid people pledging large amounts and ultimately not receiving as much as they would have if they just bought a commission for every update that they were featured in. some of the complications have been a result of my injury, but some of them also come from patreon itself. I intend to finish every scene I owe to my patrons before I switch over to a commission system, and I will also be giving current character tier patrons first come first serve rights for the first round of commissions. There will most likely be five slots for every update, and I haven't decided the price yet, but there will be a discount for already having a character in the game that I can work off of due to the added complexity of creating an all-new character in the game. for those currently pledged at the $20 tier, it is up to you whether you want to switch your pledges to another tier or not. I will be removing character tier from the patreon when I officially switch over to a new system, which will most likely be after the next update I release, which will also have all the scenes that I owe people, at least those who are currently pledged. thanks for reading and I hope you understand why I have decided to make this decision as it will ultimately provide a much smoother experience for both myself and my customers.
