The action scene suddenly cut to black.
A long-winding road of nonexistent trees and a distant mountain replaced the blood, bullets, and epic music. Realizing that a commercial break had occurred, I decided to go to bed. I remembered to leave the TV on, the volume low, and my alarm set. I sent a few more texts on my smartphone before closing my eyes and counting sheep.
Seven hours later and I woke up to a beautiful morning. I yawned deeply, stretched my limbs, then departed my bedroom for the living room. The commercial break finished just as my butt touched the couch. Time to finish the rest of the movie.
