What’s the coldest day you remember?

If my memory serves me right, the coldest day I ever experienced happened one day in mid-January 2017. I was attending college and living in the dorms which had a parking lot on top of a very steep hill that goes not only into town but also the rest of the campus. Not only was the temperature so low (about -20 F, or -29 C) that not only did my car engine have extreme trouble starting, but driving up and down that steep hill felt like I was climbing up and down an ice mountain. It’s a miracle that I didn’t crash or slide down the hill as I tried speeding up and burning rubber.
How about you though? What is the coldest day you remember experiencing?
