How did you first celebrate Pride Month?

Thinking back on how far the LGBTQAI+ community has come so far in the past few decades, and how far we still have to go to be treated equally under the law and society in general, it is still amazing to look back.
Here's my question for this week: how did you first celebrate Pride Month?
For me, I attended a pride celebration in either 2017 or 2018. It had everything standard, from the lively music and people to the small group of protesters holding signs in the background, plus plenty of souvenirs and a sense of camaraderie :)
