What furry media introduced you to the fandom?
Added 2024-04-29 08:31:45 +0000 UTCWhen I say ‘furry media’, I’m not referring to childhood films or animation like Robin Hood from Disney. I’m talking about stuff made by furries for furries, like Kyell Gold novels or webcomics. What furry media caused me to discover the furry fandom?
If memory serves me right, it was “Closet Coon”, a furry webcomic that I discovered on a YouTube video by accident. I just remember connecting with the writing and the cute illustrations so well that I couldn’t stop reading and eventually started looking for other furry webcomics.
How about you? What piece of furry media led to you discovering the furry fandom and its community?

I think it was a webcomic called “Foxfire Chronicles” or something. It’s basically dead but I still see the artist (Turnsky) around.

2024-04-29 13:51:13 +0000 UTCIt was a picture of furry porn by The Werewolf. It was an image of M/F antrowolves mating. The look of love and passion in their poses and their expressions told me that - mid 1990's - I was not alone in seeing werewolves as the best of man and wolf.. rather than the worse of them. It took a while for me to track the artist down but from there he introduced me to Furrymuck and others.
