Possible Menu Redesign and Code Stuff.

Now for those of you who DO like that kind of thing, let me explain. So I after many hours of tweaking I managed to get the the whole div to highlight when you place your cursor anywhere in the parent div. Meaning that it lights up the correct color, plays the correct css animation, and changes the brightness of the image to 0%, effectively making it black. It matches the theme and works. The entire div is also clickable now, meaning for those of you with fat fingers or on mobile, this should make the experience that much more pleasant.
I'm looking into adding keyboard functionality but I'm not sure exactly what keys should go where, so I'll mock up a few redesigns and run yet another poll for that. As always, thanks for playing and if you have any questions, concerns, etc. Please let me know.

For keyboard integration, I think the most obvious choice would be syncing it to the numpad. At least on the top menu you show in the gif attached to this post: 7=Class 8=Gwen 9=Sleep 4=Work 5=Wardrobe 6=Nap 1=Mall 2=Bathroom 3=Walk 0=Gym .=Computer then idk maybe /=Selflove *=park -=People ? I feel like numpad-correspondence just makes sense here, personally.

2024-03-08 00:38:58 +0000 UTCSorry I'm late to the party. Just brainstorming here. What about a graphical representation of the town? Doesn't have to be anything fancy. The home could have little pop ups when you hover over it for accessing your wardrobe, computer, talking to Gwen, etc. I like the animations you've added to the current design. From the looks of it, the menu feels more interactive and tactile with a response.
