0.9.0 is now available
Added 2022-12-21 22:20:49 +0000 UTCHey guys, 0.9.0 is finally here, it took some time to work on it, and although it doesn't add any new content (to the story), it adds some things people have been suggesting for A LONG TIME. Let's go through the parts:
Assistants: A few months ago, I created a poll asking what would you like better: a walkthrough or a system to guide you through the game. Well, you know which one won. I hadn't intended to write a walkthrough (I don't know if any game developer does), but I read what you said about how complex the game is now and how it's easy to get lost. This system will help you to focus on what you should be doing and which path to take to get where you want. Of course, you can ignore everything, and it will take you on a different path. You can play without it as well (Freewill) just like the way you used to. Available only for the main story. This is a new feature, and it isn't perfect, but it will do the trick for now.
Help system: The assistant system pretty much takes you by the hand and guides you through the whole game, but if you don't wish to use it, but you wish there was any other way to get some help, you can use the improved help system. Do you know that (?) icon next to the save icon? Try using it from time to time, to get hints, and solutions to what comes next. Right now, it's available only for the main story.
Travel: This one is probably the most expected. You can start a new game, and skip to a certain point of the story. You will miss a lot of things, but if you only want to check a specific part of the story, there it is. There are things to improve, such as the character's outfit, looks, and skills when you drop at certain parts, it will be fixed through the next few updates. It may be a little bug, and like any other new system, it needs improvement and it will happen through the months.
